Inovelli’s Blue Series Zigbee wall switch switch switches non-dimming lights and loads, plus it has a built-in humidity sensor and energy monitoring when used with compatible hubs or software.
Humidity sensing makes it perfect for the bathrooms but it can be used anywhere on/off control is needed.
As a Zigbee certified device, the switch can work with any Zigbee certified system, but special features like humidy sensing, power monitoring or multi-tap scene control only work with hubs or software that support these features, like SmartThings, Hubitat or Home Assistant.
The LED indicator bar on the Inovelli Blue on/off switch indcates the switch status and can be adjusted for colour and brightness. It can also be used as a custom indicator when used with compatibles hubs or software, with duration and animation effects.
The VZM30 can be used as a single switch/dimmer (single pole) or in a 3 way or multi-way application using either the AUX01 (preferred method), a “dumb switch, or another VZM30. Unlike most smart switches, a neutral wire connection can be used but it’s optional in all but a few cases.
Smart Bulb mode allows the switch to pass power full time to the down stream bulb(s) while also linking to the smart bulb for control. See Inovelli’s instructions and forums for details before purchasing.
